Poetry By Angelica Fuse

Poetry by Angelica Fuse.

Bargain Bin

I am on the refuse
pile,
a fetching price,
a bit of what was
left over
from yesterday,
an uncle's wares
passed down
after his timely
funeral march.

Ineptitude

the blank eyes
of those around
me tell
me they don't
know what's happening
either

we are all just doing
our best with what
we are able
to figure out

stumbling as we go.

Jenny Mathews Tiny Drawings

Option

press one
for me
two for heaven
three for a darker
place

press whatever
option
you want

but know there
are always
consequences.

Topple

I climbed
a ladder of success
looked down

now what?
I ask those around
me
sipping their expensive
espressos

they don't know either.
